"Coming from South Carolina, our group was in the dark as to which wineries to visit, as well as how to get there. I came across "The Big Red Engine Tour" website and decided to jump right in. We could not have been more pleased! Upon meeting Jack and his wife, Ann, we knew we were in good hands. They were kind and courteous and very knowledgeable of the local wineries. We visited 5 different wineries, and had a wonderful picnic lunch.

The Engine is one-of-a-kind with it's open air ride. It makes you feel like you are in a parade. It was the perfect way to see the beautiful scenery while being treated like good friends.Thanks to Jack and Ann for making our trip so memorable."

The Big Red Engine Company is a wine tasting and picnic private charter service for 8 adults each in open-air vintage fire engines!

Tours begin at 11 a.m. and return at approximately 5 p.m., to coincide with tasting room hours.

We'll take you and your friends to the Alexander, Dry Creek or Russian River Valley for your wine tasting adventure. We'll pick you up at your B&B, hotel or winery in Cloverdale, Geyserville, or Healdsburg, then we'll be off to the wineries of your choice, or if you like, we can recommend our favorites —for a day of tasting, and perhaps a picnic, overlooking the vineyards.
